When We Are Closed

For medical advice when surgery is closed please ring 111. Your call will be answered by the NHS Direct team who cover out of hours.

Please note that when contacting them, your telephone conversation will be recorded.

Please avoid Accident & Emergency unless you feel that it is an emergency or a problem that a doctor can’t help with or requires further investigation (i.e. and X-ray)

Please see the page for The Black Country Hub for more information regarding the extended hours appointments Spires Health Centre patients can access.  This is not a Walk-In Centre but a physical appointment at an allocated time.

Local Walk-in Centres

Sandwell NHS Walk-in Centre - Parsonage Street, West Bromwich, B71 4DL. Open seven days a week 08:00 - 20:00 for the treatment of minor illnesses and injuries.

Walsall NHS Walk-in Centre - Market Place, Walsall. Open seven days a week 08:00 - 20:00 for the treatment of minor illnesses and injuries.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
