Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic all appointments are telephone triage. If a Clinician feels that you should be seen a Face to Face Appointment will be arranged.
All surgeries are by appointment only, and can be made in person, by telephone or online (see Reception). For non-emergency appointments they can be booked in advance. If you are unable to attend for your appointment please let us know so that we can offer this to another patient.
The Practice offers a Clinical Assessment for all Children Under 5 years old on the same day that it is requested. This may be a telephone consultation or a face to face appointment.
We also offer a small amount of emergency doctor’s appointments same day. These will not be available until 08:30 on the day.
Urgent appointments are not for repeat prescriptions, fitness for work certificates or for signing forms.
All doctors are available after morning and evening surgery to give telephone advice. These appointments are limited and are first come, first served basis. Please ask the receptionist when contacting the surgery.
Our practice nurse also offers a wide range of services these include Chronic Disease Management (Asthma, COPD, Heart Disease, Diabetes) Health screening, Baby Immunisations, Dressings, Travel Vaccinations and all aspects of general Practice Nursing.
All patients are entitled to have a chaperone present for any consultation. Please request this at the time of booking or speak to your GP
If you have difficulty in speaking or understanding English an interpreter can be booked. These can take up to 5 working days to organise. Please tell Reception at the time of booking your appointment if this service is required.
If you cannot make an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for the slot to be given to someone else. Please note failure to attend 3 appointments without prior notice may result in us asking you to find alternative arrangements.
